in 2023?
Hi Bloomers! People often say to me... France suits you, you look happy, you look beautiful! Who doesn't love to hear that?! The lovely thing is.... something does really happen
when I come over here! I'd like to explain it like this... France simply looks good on me! It makes me feel great! I feel inspired! And it's not about getting dressed up! It's about how I FEEL! Doing something that makes me very happy! And I notice it does the same for my students who come and join me here! Perhaps France will look good on you too! ABOVE; France looking awesome on Jo T from Perth and Kath E from Brisbane last June! That confident happy swagger coming from the fun painting session en plein air in the middle of the Seine in the middle of Paris! We dared to. We did it, and we enjoyed! It could be many of these things that do
it...the fresh country air, a complete change of activities from my usual routine, fresh new things to learn about, the joy and pleasure of expansive creative possibilities in the studio, the inspiration of the centuries of amazing culture, the delicious French cuisine, those effervescent French bubbles in a chilled stem at aperitif hour.... ABOVE; I have to admit, my daughter Lily did my make up and spruced me up for this photo, ...'Here! let me sort you out mum!'...however those FRENCH PEONIES look pretty good on
me! And in the photo below, I am just feeling that elation of being there, in France and being able to paint with proper art equipment around me in beautiful surrounds a stones throw from where Monet once painted. Whatever it is I have found that stepping into an alternative space and breaking routines is very refreshing. We all need refreshing from time to time. I literally gain energy and reboot myself from taking time in France, even while I'm 'working'! From that I share the joy and good energy with my family, friends and I love sharing my French

I have an amazing and generous Covid plan so you can feel safe and not worry. You can book on your own or with a friend, knowing you will meet great people in the group and you will never feel
like you are by yourself. So many of my students are still in contact with the friends they made on their art immersions years after! They've
